knopslmodular
This blog is for documentation purposes. I try to document every module/synth/tool I build for me and all synthDIY-heads that are interested. Have fun reading 😀
Tech Data
The format I am currently using for my modular builds is a mix of standards I found useful for myself. First of all the signal levels are Eurorack compatible which makes it easier for me to build any modules. So I mainly use the +12V, GND, -12V rails, but when I was beginning I bought a meanwell psu that had a 5V rail and this is why I choose the JST-XH 4 pin connector to connect my modules to the powerbus. The powerbus is also diy I use stripboard and some decoupling caps as well as indicator leds at some points. My panel size is 20cm (like KOSMO format) but I use the smaller 3.5mm jacksockets like Eurorack does. This is so I have more space for knobtwiddling 😉 My modules are a mix of analog, CMOS and arduino builds mainly. If you have any questions contact me.
Where to start?
as part of this project page I want to share my experience. I prepare tutorials or easy projects as beginner friendly as possible. -> -> -> //BEGINNER section
